Return & Refund Policy

Summary

• Return window: 30 days from the day you receive your order.
• Reasons: any reason, including a change of mind.
• Return shipping: paid by Lemei. You pay nothing to send the item back.

• Refund: to your original payment card, within 14 days.
• Return methods: by Poste Italiane with our prepaid label, or in person at our Milan address.

Your legal right of withdrawal

Under the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005, articles 52 to 59), consumers have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Our 30-day return period includes and extends this right; it does not replace it.

When the 30 days start

The 30 days start on the day you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the goods. If one order arrives in several parcels, they start on the day you receive the last one.

Condition of returned items

Please return items unworn, unwashed and undamaged, in the condition you received them, with the neck label and size tag in place. You may try items on as you would in a shop. If an item comes back worn, washed or damaged beyond what is needed to try it on, we may reduce the refund by the loss in value, as the law allows.

Which items can be returned

Every item we sell can be returned under this policy. There are no excluded items.

How to return by post

1. Email support@lemei-factory.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and the items you are returning. You can also use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to.
2. Within 1 working day we email you a prepaid Poste Italiane return label, paid by us.
3. Pack the items securely, attach the label and hand the parcel to any Poste Italiane post office or Punto Poste within 14 days of telling us about the return.
4. Keep the receipt Poste Italiane gives you until your refund arrives.

How to return in person

You can bring the items to our address: LEMEI di Alessandra Marangione, Via Giuseppe Compagnoni 60, 20129 Milano (MI), Italy. Please email support@lemei-factory.com first so we can agree a time. Bring your order number.

Refunds

• We refund within 14 days of the day you tell us you are returning the items.
• We may wait until we receive the items back, or until you send us proof that you have posted them, whichever comes first.
• The refund goes to the card you paid with, through Stripe. We do not charge any fee for the refund.
• If you return every item in your order, we also refund the €5.90 delivery charge.
• Once we issue the refund, the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer.

Exchanges

To change a size or style, return the item for a refund and place a new order for the item you want. The return shipping is still paid by us.

Faulty, damaged or wrong items

All our products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under the Italian Consumer Code (articles 128 to 135-septies) for 2 years from delivery. If an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, write to support@lemei-factory.com with your order number and a photo. We pay all return costs and offer repair, replacement or a full refund including the delivery charge, as the law provides. This is in addition to the 30-day return policy above.
